On 18 March 2025, the Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Premier under s 53(1) of the Inquiries Act 2014 (Vic), appointed Renée Enbom KC to establish a Board of Inquiry in relation to the landslide on 14 January 2025. The Chair delivered her report to the Governor on 9 September 2025.
